Silver medals for gymnasts at East Midlands Floor & Vault Competition

Our Under 14 mixed team gymnastics team travelled to Stamford on Saturday 1st February 2025 to represent Spalding Academy by competing in the East Midlands Regional Floor & Vault Competition.

This talented and dedicated group of students achieved second place overall in their category demonstrating that hard work and training really pays off.

The students were in high spirits throughout the competition and their confidence shone in the disciplines. They gave outstanding performances on their floor routines and performed some excellent handsprings on the vault.

Miss Ringrose, Teacher of PE said “The whole team should be incredibly proud of the performances. I would like to thank all parents for their continued support as it was lovely to have so many of you cheering for our students when they competed.”
